We walked into the abandoned church on a cold day in search of things lost and beautiful. We were listening to the old gods, the ones that sat in these halls. We stood where they stood and felt their presence amongst the rubble. They were divine in their own rite, but to most, they were merely mortals. We paint these pictures of these heavenly beings that fly high above us, but in reality they are staring back at us in the mirror.
